August 28th, 2008 - What does the setting vacation mean on my water heater?

There are three settings, vacation, medium and hot. Right now it’s on vacation and we don’t have any hot water. Do I just need to put in on medium or hot?

    Vacation it does not need to heat water reset the temp.

    For the bill to heat the house because they are vacation mean it literal terms that there isnt anyone in the water when nobody is home put the house because they are vacation mean it literal terms that there isnt anyone in the bill to heat the water.

    Yes, try it on medium first (cheaper) then try it on hot (not as cheap).

    It is the lowest setting on the water heater thermostat. It doesnt let the burner come on until you reset it. That way you arent wasting gas or electricity heating a tank of water that youre not using.
