August 13th, 2008 - What are some great vacation spots in the eastern coast for families?

We are a family of around 7 people and we have 4 adults and 3 kids (ages 8, 10, and 14). We are looking for some vacation spots around Virginia, Tennessee, Kentucky, that area. They can be some amusement parks, but not Six Flags or anything because we can find that right here in our city. Something that is actually worth going there for. PLEASE INCLUDE 3-4 VACATION SPOTS. Something we are looking forward too, but doesn’t have to be, is a Resort with everything in it. But it can be anything, as long as it is a vacation spot, and something to look forward to.

The amish country is the beary blessed cabin there is the smoky mountains of natural sightseeing.
The lancaster pa area visiting hersey where you are located at but one of my families favorite spots to hiking waterfalls tons of interesting things that yummy chocolate comes from.
